KRIS CARLSON
A life-long Capitol Hillbilly, when not working at NuBe Green, Kris can be found teaching Studio Arts at Seattle University or playing in his secret underground workshop, building various and random things for various and random clients. When not on a soccer field several nights a week, this Sounders season ticket holder pries himself away from the pitch to wander the beautiful Pacific Northwest, drink beer of varying qualities and sporadically make art. Besides the fact that his commute to NuBe Green is an easy and enjoyable two block walk, his favorite part of being in the store is getting to meet new people everyday. He is still mad that he didn’t think of making lamps out of cardboard or messenger bags out of inner tubes first, but is happy that locals Graypants and Alchemy Goods did. People often refer to him as “Casey” or “KC” and strangely, he will respond to those names when shouted on the street.

Sustainability tip: Wash and reuse food containers from the grocery store – it’s the same as Tupperware.
